Starting from a small office base in Newcastle upon Tyne in March 2000 with 5 people, B-Skill Ltd has grown consistently over the last 10 years to where it is today, the leading training provider of choice to the Support Service sector.
B-Skill now deliver high quality and flexible training specifically designed to meet the needs of the industry across the whole of the UK with several office bases across the country.
We have learnt a lot over the years about what our customers want and need in terms of products and services and have developed strong long term partnerships with many customers, some of whom have worked with B-Skill since the beginning.

Clearly the last year has been very challenging for the business as it has been for most other training providers due to the funding constraints of Train to Gain. However we have met those challenges and emerged as a more efficient business ready to further invest on the hard work we have put in over the last 10 years.
Over the next 12 months, we will be launching a number of exciting new initiatives and services designed to add more value to our customer experience such as the new Facilities Management Level 3 qualification, whom B-Skill are one of only 3 providers throughout the whole country who will deliver this, a range of Apprenticeships and our new Cleaning Consultancy Service.

So what does the future hold?
B-Skill are dedicated to ensuring that facilities management (FM) has a highly skilled workforce suitably training and capable of managing an ever changing industry through the development of new qualifications such as the Facilities Management NVQ and Apprenticeship. Introducing this new form of training was actioned in response to employer demand and by having a close working relationship with Asset Skills, the Sector Skills Council for FM it helped identify the need for the industry to attain recognised qualifications. B-Skill believe that for experienced staff with no formal industry-specific qualification, the option of the NVQ as a stand-alone qualification based on their workplace experience will be highly appealing. This would also suit facilities managers with significant experience in other areas who wish to fill gaps in their FM knowledge.
