B-Skill grows again!Dated: 10/12/2007

B-Skill have recently opened a new centre in Blyth to support young people.

Run by Mark Dickinson, young people in Blyth can now access a wide range of training courses and general advice and support. In addition to the Blyth centre, B-Skill have two dedicated centres based in South Shields.

You will now find a large Construction Centre in The Redhead Buildings in Garden Lane. Here you will find lots of space to take part in the various construction activities on offer including:

  • Painting and Decorating
  • Woodwork
  • Bricklaying
  • Tiling

We have also joined forces with other training providers Support Training and Chesire Hope and have new premises in Fowler Street, just opposite the Library. Here you can take part in courses in Customer Care, Business Administration, Catering & Hospitality, Sports & Leisure, Warehousing and Retail. Look out for the EXCEED sign on Fowler Street.

Why not drop in and see what we have to offer, chat to an advisor what your options are, or arrange a visit to see for yourself what goes on? Courses are open to 14-18 year olds and places are available all year long.
